I realize I have a bit of an oatmeal obsession going on right now. I've shared with you both baked oatmeal and oatmeal breakfast cake. Today friends....another oatmeal. But this one can be made in under 3 minutes and is 105 calories. Microwave Banana Oat Cakes. I just had one as a snack and I am in love. I topped it with a tsp of peanut butter. Next time I am thinking of adding some chocolate chips...4 or 5 is all you would need. Or any of the add ins suggested by Averie in her post. Yum. This is now in the breakfast and snack rotation for sure.
1/2 Banana, mashed
3 Tbsp Oats
1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
1 Tsp Cinnamon
Mash it all together and mix well.
Spray a bowl with non stick spray and dump your mix into it.
Microwave for 90 seconds. Let stand for 60 seconds.
Flip out onto a plate.
I made and ate mine in about 5 minutes total, so no picture. I apologize. And I could wait to post this until I made it again and take a pic...but instead I am just going to post. If you like oats...try this!!!!
